Balls to the weather. Bowling balls to be precise. We had a lovely afternoon yesterday. We went with our friends, Louise, Eleanor and Charlie bowling. Jasper and Skyla started with the metal frame to help them bowl and then insisted on throwing (literally) the ball ON THEIR OWN! Apparently, these are the ultimate party shoes according to the bowling alley - looks wise, we have to beg to differ !
The stubborn side of certain people, paid off nicely, as they became very adept at bowling, very quickly.
Black clouds still reigned so we went to the cinema next and watched Mamma Mia. I don't know whether I should recommend it or not. I will have to see for a third time before I make my mind up! ONLY JOKING, it is a great feel good film with lots of lovely colours and sunshine. GIRLS YOU MUST GO AND SEE IT. One of my friends says you should wear your cake shoes to certain films. CAKE SHOES are shoes that you can only sit down and wear. Then you sit and eat cake (or popcorn in this case)! You do not walk anywhere in them! I am going to see Mamma Mia again, hopefully, tomorrow/
The sun did come out today. Proof. The girls put on spangly clothes and danced round the lounge all morning to the Mamma Mia soundtrack. Look at that sparkly reflection on the sofa.
The last shot is the beautiful rough sea and the sun shining on it. Very blustery! Nothing like a good blow on the front (as my mother says totally innocently!) Those with foul minds will get the joke!
