Two of my children went back to school today so Pasha and I went to Brighton for some one to one time and shopping! We had a lovely time and a great lunch at Food for Friends
Back to last week now. I would like to take you on a mad little journey that we like to take occasionally, a bit of Lunasea!
You see the walk is a river bank walk past the maddest of houseboats that you have ever seen. The river is tidal hence the mud flats in the photographs. This all actually looks very dull due to the very grey weather but believe me it is all a bit bonkers. One person has a post box made from a microwave. This is the nicest and sanest post box.
How mad is this house boat - - please note the car and caravan that forms part of the side - well, its not like you can really miss it when I think about it! However, look how overcast the day is you can't even tell there is sky behind the boat!
Yes, there is a fake bomb stuck in the mud (the tide is currently out). I think it has the usual slogan of make love not war on it.
Apparently when the tide is up it does float!
I quite like the look of this washing and faded bunting.
It is a bit like this, the house boats and the rest of the world and you meet the nicest of people ....
Anyway, whilst typing this The Simpsons are on in the background. As Homer Simpson has just said, "What? I have a TO DO pile?" Must go, got to sort out the Leaning Tower of Pisa of 'things to do' following half-term!
