Wow! That book looks fascinating, I'll have to check it out..

Thank you very much for your comment and checking my blog out. Hope you come buy again.
There are probably some ideas for your bathroom in there as they favour bright colours and vintage/thrifted but the book is not shabby chic at all. You could just go for a very luxurious feel - all pale pink and white. You could hang a chandelier for a bathroom light - I know you are not supposed to but I have never read of anyone being found dead in their bathroom because they had a chandelier rather than a sealed light (I might be wrong though!). Or you could go down the deco line - as pale pink features quite a lot in deco things. You could google deco pink images etc! Good luck!

I have that book too, and a couple of others, one is Flea Market Style, can't remember the name of the other one...of course that sheet wouldn't be allowed in here roflmao!!!! actually i have got quite a few vintage brights in modern prints like that which I've thrifted to use as fabrics for bags and skirts, I also like them to line and use as beach blankets, I do like the funky colours...believe it or not, oh and of course I have stacks of Amy Butler fabric and have heaps of bags made from it...I LOVE her stuff, I presume you've heard of her?

i think it's really funny the dress up in boys clothes to be a brother...I'm gonna ask my little 6 yr old boy in the morning if he fancies being a sister, I can only imagine what he'll say, he's a real boys boy
